The Woolworth Group, through its subsidiary Woolworth Commercial Centre Ltd, owns a large piece of land of 20.100sq.m. in a preferential location by the 28th October Avenue in Engomi Nicosia.
In this land the Engomi Commercial Centre will be developed which will have a total leasable area of 13.600sq.m. In the commercial centre there will be a large Hypermarket Store operated by a well known multinational chain, a Super Home Centre D.I.Y. Store, a DEBENHAMS Store, an electrical appliances store, coffee shop and other smaller shops.
There will also be a parking area on the basement and the ground floor of 500 places.
Woolworth Commercial Centre Ltd has already secured the financing for the development of the project of £12 million and is proceeding with the development of the Engomi Commercial Centre.
The Engomi Commercial Centre is expected to be operational by the end of 2007.
